INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH AND EDUCATION
The department of hydrology and hydraulic engineering has traditionally been able to attract many international PhD students and research funds at regional, national and international level. The department is also co-organising two International (Master) Course Programs, with the universities of Leuven and Ghent, in the field of water (and soil) engineering. Additionally, individual staff members have taken up positions in regional, national and international projects and organisations. The department is thus well embedded in the regional, national and international scientific and professional world of its discipline.
