Integrated Project

Pangani/Makanya - Tanzania

The Integrated project will be organized within the framework of the IUPWARE master programme on March 2019 in Tanzania. It will be coordinated in collaboration with three Tanzanian Universities (Sokoine University of Agriculture, University of Dar es Salaam, and Nelson Mandela African Institution).

The objective is to evaluate Evapotranspiration (ET) water productivity for conventional and innovative management practices for the main crops in the Makanya catchment.

Open Water Network Symposium

The ambition of the Open Water Network Symposium is to promote and present research on cloud computing for water sciences and water management.

Date: March 14, 2018

Targeted audience:

 Developers and providers of cloud computing and open source tools in the water domain from all over the globe.

 Potential users of open source tools for water resources management in the South

 Academics and students doing research using open source tools
